Iowa State Alumni of Kansas City partners with the MGA to present the annual Crown Town Trivia Night! One of our most popular events, the evening is filled with three rounds of exciting trivia surrounded by a live and silent auction.
This is an opportunity for the MGA to share with stakeholders' organizational updates as well as recognize key partners. The meeting also holds an educational component, and a key speaker or topic related to MG.
Formally the MGA Snowflake Shuffle 0.1K, incorporating a fun and engaging approach to advocacy. In 2025, we are expanding our reach by introducing Snowflake Saturday, bringing this cherished event to three locations to further unite and support the MG community.

This event would not be possible without the help of dedicated volunteers, and we appreciate the time and effort the organizing committee gives to help sustain the work of the MGA.

The MGA holds it’s Annual Meeting each fall in Kansas City, MO. This is an opportunity for the MGA to share with stakeholders organizational updates as well as recognize key partners. The meeting also holds an educational component and a key speaker or topic related to MG. This is a great opportunity to come together and learn about the MGA as well as learn more about MG. The meeting is supported by many of our partners and gives patients, providers, and families time to visit directly with vendors that may play a role in their care.

The Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) is proud to continue its longstanding tradition of raising awareness and fostering community support through our annual awareness event. In 2013, Wichita Support Group Coordinators Larry and Dana Paxson introduced the first annual MG Walk for Awareness, bringing together over 90 participants at Towne West Square Mall and raising more than $4,000 in support of MG awareness.
In 2018, the event evolved into the MGA Snowflake Shuffle 0.1K, incorporating a fun and engaging approach to advocacy. In 2025, we are expanding our reach by introducing Snowflake Saturday, bringing this cherished event to three locations to further unite and support the MG community.
